4 CHEAP Drop Servicing Courses For Beginners (DON’T OVERPAY!)

Last Update:

So, you fancy jumping on the drop servicing bandwagon?

I’m not surprised.

Thousands of people have posted testimonials raving about making hundreds (or even thousands) in their first-month drop servicing.

That’s probably why you’re here, right?

Drop servicing is a relatively new online business model so there aren’t many courses out there.

At least, there aren’t many AFFORDABLE courses out there.

However, I’ve managed to uncover the four best drop servicing courses for beginners that will help boost your business off the ground without breaking the bank!

Before you choose your course, you first have to make a decision:

What method do you want to use to generate leads?

For anyone who’s new to all this business language, a lead is a potential client who shows interest in your business.

There are two ways of generating leads—Paid ads or active outreach.

Some drop servicing courses focus on one method over the other, so before buying a course, it’s important to know which strategy you plan to use. As you’re about to see, both have pros and cons.

Paid ads are self-explanatory—you pay for potential clients to click on your ad. This is the best method for anyone looking for more passive income

With this method, interested buyers basically show up knocking on your door.

You will have to learn how to run Google Ad campaigns and design a website that’s high-converting. So, make sure you choose a course that covers these skills in-depth (I’ve got a few options).

✔️ Pros

  • (Almost) passive income strategy
  • Easier to scale
  • Less work
  • More streamlined

❌ Cons

  • High upfront costs
  • Difficult to learn PPC as a beginner

Active Outreach

Active outreach is essentially the opposite of paid ads. Instead of interested buyers showing up on your doorstep, you have to go out and actively find them.

One of the most common ways to do this is through cold emailing campaigns. And since you don’t have to invest money in ads, this is often the best method for beginners who are just getting off the ground.

Heck, if you already have experience working as a freelancer, you may already be a master at cold emailing!

Either way, active outreach will likely suit you better than paid ads if you have more time than money.

On the other hand, if you’d rather sit back and let your money attract clients for you, I’d suggest using paid ads.

Check out my entire step-by-step guide on how to use the active drop servicing business model for beginners.

✔️ Pros

  • No startup costs
  • You don’t have to design a website (to begin with)
  • Higher profit margins
  • More likely to get repeat customers

❌ Cons

  • You pay in time instead of money (this method takes a lot of work)
  • You’ll have to handle a lot of rejection

Best Drop Servicing Courses and Trainings (That Won’t Break the Bank)

These are some of the best drop service training programs for those looking to learn on a budget.

That said, please have realistic expectations.

Yes, these courses will give you some solid guidance for getting started.

Yes, they’ll save you time and cut down the learning curve.

But if you pay less than $15 for a course (or get it for free), don’t expect a mega ultimate $1,000-quality training.

Lastly, as always, make sure to read the reviews for each course before deciding to purchase. I always recommend reading the 3-star reviews because you never know when a 5-star review is legit or not.

1. Dylan Sigley Drop Servicing BluePrint (Free Training Webinar)

Now, I know Dylan Sigley’s full course is pricey, but bear with me. His free “live” webinar training (ya know, the one he talks about in all his YouTube ads) is actually worth a watch.

💰 Cost: 0

⏳ Time Needed: 3 Hours

✅ Avg. Reviews: 4.9

Dylan Sigley is basically the O.G. drop servicer. At least, he was the first person I ever heard talking about this model.

Anyway, if you forget about the fact that he is trying to sell you his full course, beginners could actually take a lot from his free training. (Side note: I’ve taken his full course as well, and it blew me away. If you’re curious, check out my full Drop Servicing Blueprint review).

You’ll learn (according to him), “The Three-Step Process to Get A $12,000 Sale in 6 Days”.

I’m not saying you’ll get these crazy results, but you will learn a great drop servicing system for beginners.

Here’s the catch:

The first and last hour of the webinar won’t really teach you much. The first hour is his team’s results, followed by a bit of a motivational speech.

If you’re interested in buying the full course then, by all means, watch the full three hours. (If you’re serious about this, it’s worth the watch).

If not, you can just sign up, leave the webinar on in the background for an hour, then tune in for the training.

I guarantee you’ll come away with some brilliant ideas for your business.

So, even if the claims seem a little hypey, this free drop servicing training is worthwhile for beginners.

2. Passive Income 6-Figure Drop Servicing – Best Cheap Option

screenshot of popular udemy drop servicing course

Finally, a drop servicing course that doesn’t cost hundreds of dollars! This Udemy drop Servicing Master Class is cheap and cheerful (and mostly for beginners).

💰 Cost: Price varies, but usually always on sale for roughly $12.99

⏳ Time Needed: 5 hours

✅ Avg. Reviews: 4.7/5

While this course has many positive reviews, I’m a bit skeptical about the review system on Udemy.

If you sort by 1-star reviews, you will see multiple students share their disappointment — mainly that it shows how to set up a website and general online business, but it does not fulfill the claim of setting up a passive income drop servicing business.

That said, at just a tad over $10, it might be a decent “crash course” to get your toes wet. If you decide it’s the right business model for you, you can look into more in-depth training options.

3. Matt Riley’s Free YouTube Course – Best “No Website” Method

If you’re looking to keep startup costs as low as possible, you’ll love Matt Riley’s training. He uses a “no website” method that any beginner could implement. In fact, why not just click play and watch it now?

💰 Cost: $0

⏳ Time Needed: 30 mins

✅ Avg. Reviews: N/A

If you’re anything like me, keeping your expenses to a minimum is a big priority.

You can usually find what you need for free somewhere on the web. The trick is sorting through all the crap.

Well, I sorted through the crap for you, and this is what I found:

People like Matt Riley (and even Dylan Sigley) share their methods on YouTube for free.

They probably keep some secrets for their courses, but the majority of what they know can be found on YouTube.

Matt Riley’s free YouTube course is great because not only is it free, but he also uses a method with no expenses.

Don’t get me wrong, you’d have to work very hard to make it work—but that’s to be expected, right?

In his free course, Matt covers his four-step process:

  1. Niche Selection
  2. Active Outreach
  3. Closing
  4. Fulfillment

This is the perfect method for anyone who can’t bother dumping time and money into designing a website.

You will have to learn how to sell on the phone, which may be tough for introverts, but once you sharpen your skills, you’ll be able to essentially create income on demand.

4. Drop Servicing Simplified by Michael Geeh – Best Free Course

Drop Servicing Simplified: The Ultimate Guide to Building a Successful Drop Servicing Business
A step-by-step guide on how to get started in drop servicing and how to be successful.

So, in my search for a great free course, I came across this book by Michael Geeh.

💰 Cost: Check Amazon for current prices (it may even be free with Kindle Unlimited)

⏳ Time Needed: 1-2hrs

✅ Avg. Reviews: 4.5/5

Drop Servicing Simplified answers many common questions you’ll run into when setting up and running your business.

I’d say this book is only worth a read if you plan on using the paid ads method. Although Geeh covers free leads, the chapter isn’t as in-depth as the website funnel model.

That said, Geeh does a pretty good job covering the most important topics in a beginner-friendly way.

Here’s everything else you can expect to learn:

  • Drop servicing basics (what is drop servicing, drop servicing vs drop shipping, etc.)
  • Niche selection
  • How much to charge for services
  • Cost of advertising
  • Competitor analysis
  • Niches to avoid
  • Hiring the right freelancer
  • Designing your website
  • How to write sales copy
  • Shopify vs WordPress
  • Upselling and cross-selling
  • Finding clients: free and PPC
  • Closing the sale
  • Managing workflow
  • Performance tracking

Now, you obviously can’t expect a cheap (or free) eBook to contain the same level of detail as a full-blown course that costs an arm and a leg, but it’s a good base.

So, what is the best drop servicing course?

If you haven’t noticed, when it comes to drop servicing, there’s more than one way to skin a cat.

Different courses teach different methods, and there’s no such thing as a “best drop servicing course”.

It all depends on your unique situation (skillset, budget, personality, strengths, etc.).

That’s why I recommend going through all of these courses — most of them are free, after all!

Learn all your different options, then choose whichever path makes the most sense to you.

And if you choose a method that requires a website, don’t forget to check out my guide on drop servicing website examples for inspiration.
