Looking for an in-depth Freedom Ticket review that gives you an actual peek inside the course?

Look no further.

The Freedom Ticket course by Kevin King is touted as one of the best Amazon FBA training courses on the market.

But the burning question is —does it live up to the hype?

Our research team got their hands dirty digging through the Freedom Ticket course to determine if it can actually help you become a successful Amazon seller  (because, let’s be real, nobody wants to waste money on a lame course).

In this Freedom Ticket course review, we’re serving up the cold hard truth so you can decide if it’s the right fit for you. Let’s jump right in!

👀 This is a Level 2 review. Read more about our in-depth course review process.

Freedom Ticket review: What to know about The Course

Freedom Ticket teaches how to white label products and sell them through Amazon FBA. The course is included when you buy a Helium 10 subscription, which is one of the leading software tools for Amazon sellers.

The course takes you on a 10-week journey through the world of Amazon. Each week you unlock a different piece of the Amazon FBA seller puzzle.

This differs from other courses that blast you all at once with a firehose of information.

But before we get too far in the weeds of the program, let’s look at the course creator’s reputation.

Kevin King review: Who even is this guy?!

picture of the founder

Kevin King isa seasoned e-commerce pro who has rakes in millions of dollars in Amazon sales each year.

This guy’s been hustling since forever, selling his goods on eBay and Amazon since ’99.

Just to give you a taste of his success — in 2015 he launched five private label brands on Amazon that sold a whopping $1.8 million by 2016.

He’s always tinkering with the latest tools, tricks, and strategies to help his students stay ahead of the competition in today’s Amazon environment.

According to his LinkedIn profile, he has helped 160,000+ students via Freedom Ticket. Long story short — this isn’t just some internet rando.

What’s included in the Freedom Ticket course?

The Freedom Ticket course is part of the larger Helium 10 Amazon software suite (details on that in a sec).

Freedom Ticket shows you how to use Helium 10 and all the other strategies you need to build a successful Amazon business.

Basically, everything you get is broken down into 3 parts:

  1. Course modules
  2. Helium 10 Tool Suite
  3. Facebook community

#1.) The Freedom Ticket Course

As I mentioned, the course is broken down into 10 weeks.

Here’s what you’ll learn each week:

Week 1 – Intro to Selling on Amazon. A breakdown of what selling on Amazon actually means, the investment you’re going to need to make (important!), and mindset stuff you need to be aware of.

Week 2 – Basics of Amazon Selling. What to expect when you start and the fundamentals of selling on Amazon. Basically, this is your syllabus.

Week 3 – All About Money. Every business needs an investment and a finance plan, and that’s what you learn here.

Week 4 – Finding a Product to Sell. Discover profitable products using market research and competitor spying.

Week 5 – Getting Your Product Made. Learn how and where to source your product (and more importantly, where not to).

Week 6 – Freight & Logistics. A complete breakdown of international shipping (it doesn’t have to be complicated if you do it the right way).

Week 7 – How to Make Sales on Amazon. All the info you need to actually sell on Amazon.

Week 8 – How to Create Your Sales Page. Optimize your listing to help it reach the top of Amazon’s search results.

Week 9 – Launching Your Product. Putting theory into practice – it’s time to go live.

Week 10 – Using Amazon Advertising. A breakdown of how to market your product on Amazon once it’s listed.

Week 11 (Bonus) – Selling on Walmart.com. You’ve mastered selling on Amazon, now you can expand to Walmart for an additional income stream.

screenshot-of-course-modules

Each module has step-by-step lessons to teach you Amazon selling from A to Z.

Every lesson has a video and additional resources you can use to help you in the process.

What’s cool about the lessons is that there are major guest experts teaching you along the way.

picture of kian golzari guest instructor

For example, people like Kian Golzari hop in for a lesson about logistics and product sourcing, so you’re learning from people who specialize in different parts of the business.

If you don’t know who Kian is, that’s ok. Kian is a real whiz in the world of product development and sourcing. He’s the guy who’s personally discovered 2,500+ products for some of the biggest brands to sell.

When we say you’re learning from the best, we mean it.

#2.) Helium 10 Tool Suite

Since the Freedom Ticket course comes as a part of a Helium 10 subscription, a lot of what you learn uses the Helium 10 software.

It has over 20 tools to help you with product and keyword research, listing optimization, operational assistance, analytics, marketing, and a ton of other stuff.

This makes things super streamlined compared to buying a ton of separate services and having to manage a mountain of different subscriptions.

Here’s what the Helium 10 dashboard looks like:

screenshot of helium10 took kit

Whether you’re trying to optimize your sales page, or learn more about your competitors, you can do it all from within one organized dashboard.

There’s also a Google Chrome extension you can use to track your analytics (and your competitors).

I decided to try it out for myself so I looked up the stats of a recent camera lens I purchased. It was interesting to see how the market views the lens, what keywords helped it rank on Amazon, and even what other potential options there are.

Helium 10 has different tiers and pricing plans, and they all include access to the Freedom Ticket course.

The Starter plan costs as little as $29 per month. This gives you course access, but the Amazon tools you get access to are pretty bare bones.

To unlock the full power of Helium 10, you’ll need a Platinum subscription, which costs $79 per month billed annually (even less if you use my discount code, more about that below).

This is just one of the costs of running an Amazon business. If you don’t pay for Helium 10, you’ll have to pay for something else. At least with Helium 10, you get a free course.

Plus, once you actually use the software, you realize it’s insanely useful in keeping your business running.

To give you an idea, here are some photos of what the analytics look like on the backend.

#3.) Facebook community

If you still have questions that aren’t covered in the course, you can check out their Facebook community.

This Facebook community is huge, with almost 70,000 members, and new ones joining every day.

That said, it’s not entirely students from the Freedom Ticket course. The Facebook community is a private community for anyone who uses Helium 10 products.

If you have questions about the course itself, it may or may not get answered, but if you have questions about your product listing or anything else that has to do with selling on Amazon, you’ll get helpful feedback.

For example, this post from a few hours ago already has 14 comments chipping in.

Freedom Ticket cons ❌

As you know, every program has its flaws.

Here’s what I wasn’t a fan of.

Time consuming. Because you don’t get all the course lessons right away, you really have to be patient and wait for the 10 weeks to be up before you can actually start selling anything. This is actually a good thing for the types of people who binge watch courses without taking action. But if you have extra time to go all in full-time, you might have to wait around at some points.

Few success stories. Students who’ve taken this course seem to love it, and it has a ton of positive reviews. But considering how many students have taken the course, you’d think they’d have more tangible results to share. I’m guessing this is because the product they are actually selling is Helium 10, so marketing the course may not be their top priority.

Additional costs. The course is super upfront about this from the beginning, but just so you’re aware, there is an additional recommended investment of $5,000 to buy inventory. This isn’t a con against the course itself, it’s just part of the business model.

Freedom Ticket pros ✅

Regular updates. It’s constantly being updated with the latest strategies and tech (like AI) to keep you up to date. This is extra important because the Amazon landscape is constantly changing.

Helium 10 subscription. You get access to the best toolkit in the market. This is literally something you should buy anyway, even if it didn’t include the course. The fact that the course is included is just the cherry on top.

7-day money-back guarantee. You have a week to test drive the software and course to decide if it’s right for you. This guarantee is mostly for the software because seven days in the course only covers the first module. If you are on the fence, I recommend testing the waters with the monthly plan that you can cancel anytime (vs. locking in a full year). .

Comprehensive, yet beginner-friendly. The flow of the lessons go super in depth and build on one another, making it easy for anyone to follow.

Experienced teachers. You’re learning from experts who have made it big selling on Amazon and are in the trenches constantly refining their strategies.

No scammy marketing BS. Unlike other courses in this industry that hype up their programs with get-rich-quick promises, Freedom Ticket takes a realistic, level-headed approach, which is refreshing.

Supportive community. When you get stuck (which you will), you can ask your questions in a community of thousands of sellers who have been there, done that.

TL;DR: Is Freedom Ticket worth it?

While the course isn’t perfect, it’s one of the most comprehensive Amazon training programs on the market — and since it comes with the software you should be using anyway, it’s essentially free. That said, it’s not for everyone.

This course is NOT for you if:

🔴 You’re already an experienced Amazon seller.

🔴 You expect overnight results.

🔴 You don’t have the money for the product inventory or investing in the business.

🔴 You’re not willing to adapt to the changing market.

🔴 You’re looking for guaranteed success (this doesn’t exist in entrepreneurship).

This course is for you if:

🟢 You’re willing to invest time and money to get things off the ground.

🟢 You’re interested in private labeling.

🟢 You want a business model that scales and can (eventually) be relatively passive income.

🟢 You’re a beginner and ready to learn.

Are there any Freedom Ticket discounts?

There actually are a couple Freedom Ticket and Helium 10 discounts.

If you sign up through my affiliate link, you will be given the choice between two discounts.

You can choose 20% off Helium 10 for your first six months. Or you can choose 10% off Helium 10 forever.

I recommend the second option because if you plan to run this business for more than one year, then you will save more in the long run.

The Freedom Ticket course is included in whichever Helium 10 plan you choose.

Where can I sign up?

I hope you found my write-up insightful. It took a good chunk of time to put together, so if you found it helpful, decide it’s for you, and want to say, “Thanks, Mitch!”— I’d be thrilled if you purchased using my affiliate link button below (at no extra charge to you). I’ll even send you an extra bonus (see below).

Either way, you’ll get major value out of the Freedom Ticket course, and it’s still hard for me to believe that it’s included in a Helium 10 subscription.

Make sure to use the discount code you see after clicking the button.

✨ Bonus Offer

If you purchase using any link on this page, I’ll throw in my Work from Anywhere Toolkit ($25 value) for free. This mega-resource is packed with 200+ free (or very cheap) tools to help automate your business — and even do it while traveling the world!

Just forward me a copy of your receipt with subject line “WORK FROM ANYWHERE TOOLKIT BONUS” and I’ll give you access to the toolkit.

Freedom Ticket alternatives

Freedom Ticket is one of the best Amazon courses on the market since it’s included with software that many sellers are using anyway.

That said, if you have no interest in Helium 10 software, there are other great Amazon training programs out there as well.

Marketplace Superheroes Accelerate: This in-depth course focuses on selling as a wholesaler, which is a more beginner-friendly model than private labeling. The course itself uses video lessons and actionable tasks after each lesson to keep you accountable for your growth. It’s more expensive than Freedom Ticket, running at about $95 a month. For more details, see my full Marketplace Superheroes review or check out their free Amazon wholesaling masterclass.

Proven Amazon Course: This is a ginormous bank of (somewhat unorganized) Amazon training courses. It has a TON of content, but you have to dig through to find the gold. It’s also the best bang for your buck Amazon training — assuming you don’t use Helium 10. To dip your toes in the water, their $1 Amazon Blueprint teaches how to get your first sale in 30 days. Or for a deeper look behind-the-scenes, check out my Proven Amazon Course review.

If you have the money, I would opt for either Marketplace Superheroes Accelerate or Freedom  Ticket.

While Proven Amazon Course is great if you’re on a budget, there’s so much self-learning and weeding through outdated info involved that it would just take so much of your time. On the other hand, if you’re on a shoestring budget and have plenty of time on your hands, there is plenty of gold to be found!

Freedom Ticket shares a step-by-step guide to making it big as a private label Amazon seller, but the real value is the Helium 10 platform that the course comes with.

Helium 10 has many analytics vital to growing your Amazon business.

Here’s how to make the decision easy.

If you plan to use Helium 10 to manage your Amazon store, take Freedom Ticket.

If you do not want to use Helium 10, but still like the private labeling business model, try the Proven Amazon Course.

And if you are interested specifically in wholesaling (less upfront investment), check out Accelerate.
