Fully Booked VA claims to fast-track your VA business by specializing your skills.
But is it actually any good? And can it really help you earn a full-time income on your terms?
Our research team spent hours dissecting the Fully Booked VA program to determine if it’s legit.
Nobody likes throwing away money on a sucky course (been there, done that). So in this Fully Booked VA course review, we’ll give it to you straight so you can decide for yourself if it’s right for you.
Let’s dive in.
UPDATE: FBVA just launched a ginormous overhaul that makes it even more epic. This new version is structured as live cohorts to add accountability to the self-paced course, so the program only opens occasionally for each new cohort.
You can check to see if enrollment for the full cohort program is open here.
If it’s closed, you can still join the Fully Booked Foundations course now (and get an extra 25% off by using this discount affiliate link and code FBVA25).
Then when the cohort program re-opens, you’ll get the option to upgrade if you’re interested.

Fully Booked VA review: What you need to know
Fully Booked VA is your all-in-one guide to launching a successful freelance virtual assistant business. But it’s not just about the basics — this program teaches you how to earn higher rates by specializing your skills.
That said, I found that the course does have some weaknesses, and it’s not right for everyone.
Before breaking open your piggy bank, there are some things you should know.
If, after reading the review, you decide the course is right for you, scroll to the bottom of this page to get a special sign-up bonus (and a money-saving tip).
What’s included in the Fully Booked VA program?
Fully Booked VA claims to be the one-stop-shop for starting and growing a specialized virtual assistant business. To do this, the course is broken into 3 parts.
- VA Foundations
- Skills Courses
- Fully Booked community
- Extras
#1.) VA Foundations
This is FBVA’s foundational course that focuses on leveraging skills you already have into a virtual assistant business.
It provides a basic understanding of becoming a virtual assistant through group coaching, lessons, and extra specialized courses in their bundle.
Fully Booked Foundations is broken down into 12 modules, each with an average of 5 to 7 lessons. Each module ends with action steps to make sure you’re actually building your business (and not just binging content).
If you join the cohort program, you’ll have weekly calls to go along with these modules and keep you accountable.
You have access to the entire course as soon as you join, so you’re free to work ahead if you’re an overachiever.
But if you want more accountability, structure, and hand-holding, you can go week-by-week with your cohort group.
Here’s a quick recap of what you learn in the modules:
Gain Understanding. Learn how to create value for a client, and how to adapt to the changes in the market.
Your Foundation. Introduces you to tools you’ll use, the types of services you can offer, and how to start pricing your services.
Online Presence. Easy ways to market your services so potential clients can actually find you.
Source Clients. Proven strategies to find clients (even if you lack experience).
Sell Your Services. Learn specific tools and techniques you can use to have potential clients begging to hire you.
Get Hired. Goes over the business side of the VA world, like how to run an interview, change your rates, and package your offers to maximize income.
Onboarding Clients. Finalize your contracts, invoicing programs, and workflow to onboard a new client like a pro.
Working with Clients. How to handle tough conversations with your clients, like how to fire a client or ask to be paid more if you’re taking on more work.
Productivity. Time management tips to avoid spending hours on something that could take 10 minutes.
Specialization. The bread and butter to this program — how to specialize your business so you can charge top dollar.
Work On Your Business. Learn how to take your VA business full time and all the nitty gritty details that goes into that.
The course is a mix of video and text-based lessons, and you will have to do a lot of reading.
There’s also a ton of downloadable bonus PDFs and worksheets that help you figure out how to structure your business.
These include action steps to keep you accountable and make sure you’re actually working on your VA business.
#2.) Skills courses
In addition to teaching you the A to Z to starting your VA business, Fully Booked VA stands out by offering extra training for various specializations.
Personally, this is the most interesting part of the program. I’ve taken a ton of different VA courses and Fully Booked VA is the only one that shows how varied the options are to earning money.
These skills courses teach you how to specialize your already existing skills so you can charge more.
This is extremely useful for beginners who are ready to hit the ground running and build their business with a specific niche.
(If you’re already in the VA world and just want to level up your skills, you can also buy these courses individually.)
If you want to scale your income even more, you can even use these skills to create a higher-level business that doesn’t rely on freelancing (but this is optional).
The skills courses include training on things like social media management, email management, project management, and even real estate for virtual assistants.
At the end of the Fully Booked VA course, there’s a library of different resources you can check out for productivity, client management, and specialization.
Here’s a sneak peek at that library.
Most of these resources are free and you can find them on the internet, but when I was going through the course I found it helpful to have all of these resources in one place.
#3.) Fully Booked VA community
When you join Fully Booked VA, you’re not just signing up for a course — you’re also getting 90 days of support.
This support package includes:
- A private community where you can connect with other students and mentors.
- Weekly group coaching calls to keep you on track.
- Access to exclusive (and vetted) VA job opportunities.
There are weekly group coaching lives so you can get personalized help from Stephanie Hayes, who has been coaching and consulting high-level businesses for over 20 years (she knows her stuff).
On top of that, you can access new monthly skills training with some of the best experts in the industry. The more you learn, the more you can earn.
Check out this live training they had recently about podcasting.
Like I mentioned earlier, one of the most valuable features of this community is access to the VA job opportunities. The FBVA team is continually adding a steady stream of new opportunities to give students an edge in finding clients.
These jobs are exclusive to FBVA students (i.e. not posted anywhere else) because companies are specifically looking to hire VAs trained by FBVA. Because of this, many students get their first clients by using these leads.
When I first started my VA journey I relied on job boards like this to build up my clientele, so I guess I’m a bit biased when it comes to courses that prioritize finding opportunities for their students.
#4.) Extras
The updated cohort program comes with some new bonus perks.
First, they formalized the cerification program. When you graduate the course, you now receive a shareable badge you can add to your social media accounts, email signatures, websites, etc.
This boosts your credibility when communicating with potential clients. If they’re deciding between you and another candidate, it’ll be a point in your favor.
But the most exciting addition (in my opinion) is that they are now partnering with multiple VA agencies.
When you graduate, you’ll get added to the roster with these agencies. This doesn’t guarantee work, but these agencies are actively looking for VAs to send work.
It’s important to note that FBVA teaches a multi-pronged approach to staying “fully booked”.
To avoid the feast and famine cycle, it’s important to have multiple “buckets” of potential work.
And being on the roster of these VA agencies is just one of the buckets that’ll help keep your income consistent and diversified.
Fully Booked VA cons ❌
If you read one of our reviews before, then you already know that no course is without issues. This one is no exception.
Here are some of the cons we found when looking through the course.
❌ Skips entry-level skills. FBVA focuses on using the skills you already have to jumpstart your VA business, then specializing with higher-value skills. If you’re looking for tutorials on beginner VA tasks like email and calendar management, this is not the course for you.
❌ Text heavy. FBVA has both video and text lessons, but it requires more reading than some other video-focused programs.
❌ Conditional refund policy. Refunds are only available if you complete certain tasks. When you buy, you’re committing to seeing it through — no tire kickers.
❌ Limited community access. Only 90 days of community access is included in the course price. That said, many students continue paying $30 for the monthly subscription because they find the constant job leads and coaching calls are well worth the cost.
Fully Booked VA pros ✅
✅ Exclusive job leads. This makes it extra easy to find your first clients, which is usually one of the biggest challenges for new VAs. All jobs are vetted, so you don’t waste time on bad opportunities.
✅ Costs less than competitors. With the special discount code below, the FBVA bundle is several hundred dollars cheaper than competing VA courses.
✅ Expert lives and weekly check-in calls. Starting an online business is a lot less daunting when you have experts in your corner every step of the way.
✅ Specialized skills training. Most other VA courses charge extra for specialized skills training. In FBVA, it’s included.
✅ Action steps keep you on track. If you follow the action steps, you should have your biz up and running by the end of the course.
✅ Lifetime guarantee. The refund policy may require you to put in the work, but the money-back guarantee lasts a lifetime. This is more fair than other courses that require you to show your work and also require you to finish everything within a short time frame.
✅ Student success stories. FBVA has tons of great reviews from happy students.
These Fully Booked VA reviews from the sales pages are especially inspiring:
TL;DR: Is Fully Booked VA worth it?
There’s no shortage of virtual assistant courses out there, but what makes FBVA stand out is the emphasis on specializing your skills.
This is really important if you’re trying to become a full-time VA because mastering high-value skills will allow you to support yourself while working less.
I was able to use some of the lessons I learned in the real estate specialized course within FullyBooked VA to earn more in an industry that I didn’t even consider otherwise.
And when you factor in the exclusive job opportunities and live coaching calls, Fully Booked VA is worth it.
If you land just one client from the job opportunities they send out, you could recoup the cost of the course.
That said, it’s not for everyone.
This course is NOT for you if:
- You don’t care about offering high-value specialized skills.
- You prefer video learning over reading.
- You’re not a self starter.
- You’re not comfortable using a computer.
This course is for you if:
- You’re willing to learn.
- You can adapt to a changing work environment.
- You want to level up your existing skills and earn more.
- You have at least one of the skills on this list.
Is there a Fully Booked VA discount code?
There is a Fully Booked VA discount code!
Project Untethered readers can get 25% off the Fully Booked VA Foundations course by using our affiliate link and coupon code FBVA25.
With the discount, FBVA ends up costing several hundred dollars less than other popular VA training courses.
Keep in mind that this discount is for the Foundations course, which is what I recommend starting with if the full cohort program is closed for enrollment (it opens quarterly).
If you join the Foundations course using the discount, you can later decide to upgrade to the cohort option the next time it opens.
